- Introduction to Product Design
- Understanding the different stages of Design Thinking, Design Research and Strategy
- User Research, Experience Mapping
- Understanding the knowledge of the entire design thinking process, framework and strategies
- How do I know my users? What they do, How they act
- Learning how to create a good empathy map, user persona- Learning Interview methods and approaches
- Performing research methods to gather insights and test assumptions
Session 2 – Sunday November 21, 2021 @ 10:00AM CDT/4:00PM WAT
VISUAL ELEMENTS:
- What is an Interface?
- What role does a designer play in creating a user interface?
- Using colour, type, and imagery to make interfaces function clear and seamless

DESIGN FUNDAMENTALS:
- Necessary skills and frameworks to make an
- immersive application.
- Understanding the UI Patterns and Libraries
- Creating an intuitive interface
Session 3 – Saturday November 27, 2021 @ 7:00AM CDT/1:00PM WAT
INFORMATION ARCHITECTURE
- Different components of information architecture and learn how to organize information within digital products.
- Understand the importance of wireframing within the design process, use wireframing tools, methods, and resources to complete design tasks.

STRATEGY ARCHITECTURE
- Build a deeper understanding of user goals and motivations, allowing findings to influence product functionality as you create an end-to-end digital experience.
Session 4 – Sunday November 28, 2021 @ 10:00AM CDT/4:00PM WAT
STRATEGY ARCHITECTURE:
- Learning how to run an Unmoderated Usability Test (URUT)
- Prototyping: Understanding the Ins and Outs of modern design
- Developing a comprehensive plan for a complex website
BREAK
INFORMATION ARCHITECTURE:
- Constructing meaningful content (knowing how successful it is after launch)
- Analyzing and Reshaping Content for SEO
- Exploring the roles of context and perception
Session 5 – Saturday December 4, 2021 @ 7:00AM CDT/1:00PM WAT
DESIGN DOCUMENTATION:
- Wireframes for the Wicked
- The What, Why & How of Wireframing Developing Reusable patterns via Rapid Prototyping
HIGH FIDELITY MOCKUP/INTERACTION DESIGN:
- Is there a need to code?
- Mobile and Web approach & challenges Launching a Full-fledged Visual Prototype
MOCK DESIGNCON- Here they are to be assigned into groups where they come up with a solution-based design that solves real time problems based on what has been taught in class
